Electuaries

The honey used for our electuaries is sourced locally from Rhodes Farm in Saulsbury, TN.

Femme Santé

Dandelion leaf is known to be a diuretic. Raspberry leaf may strengthen the uterus. 

Dong quai is known to or may regulate the menstrual cycle, relieve period pain and cramps, and may be an ideal tonic for women with heavy menstruation who rick becoming anemic. Red clover may relieve menstrual symptoms (The conservative recommendation is to avoid red clover in cases of ESR1)

You can take a teaspoon 2-3 times a week, or you can stir it in warm water and drink it. You can also spend it on toast with a dairy free ricotta cheese and berries. You must take this regularly and not just during your cycle.

Golden

This is a very warm, spiced electuary. Tumeric is known for its ability to address inflammation in the body. Ginger is known to contribute to digestive health and many other medicinal benefits. You can take a teaspoon straight to the head, or you can spread it on toast with a dairy free cream cheese with pears or mango. Consume a few times a week or whenever you would like to enjoy it.

Anxiety Relief

Oatstraw and ashwagandha are two herbs that may calm the nervous system without making you drowsy. While relieving stress doesn't have a one size fits all solution, these herbs may work to calm and decrease negative effects of stress.  Roses are known for their beauty, but they may be used to relieve inflammation in the body as well as supporting the heart.

 Add 1 teaspoon (or to taste) to a warm cup of water for an instant tea, or just take a teaspoon straight to the head for quick nighttime( or anytime) relaxation. Or you can spread it on toast, add it to yogurt, oatmeal, or a smoothie.

Herbal Syrups

Mantra

Lavender is known to and may be an antidepressant and relieve anxiety. People have always loved this herb for relaxation. Orange peels may be used as a diuretic. Sage may help cognition well as hot flashes and night sweats.

Use the syrup, to taste, in any tea, coffee, or sparkling water to enhance the taste with these calming herbs.

Soothing

Lemon balm is known to "gladden the heart". It has been known to be a relaxant and have sedative qualities. Sumac has been positively connected to cardiovascular health, metobolic health as well as blood sugar regulation. Hibiscus may help and improve digestion.

Use the syrup, to taste, in any tea, coffee, or sparkling water to enhance the taste with these calming herbs.
