Oatstraw and ashwagandha are two herbs that may calm the nervous system without making you drowsy.  Add 1 teaspoon (or to taste) to a warm cup of water for an instant tea, or just take a teaspoon straight to the head for quick nighttime( or anytime) relaxation. Or you can spread it on toast, add it to yogurt, oatmeal, or a smoothie.
